Groups can test their fear of heights on the highest bridge walk in the world. The 876-foot-high New River Gorge Bridge – the longest steel arch bridge in North America – can be enjoyed from a 3,000-foot-long, 24-inch-wide catwalk. Walkers are safely harnessed and have an expansive view of the New River Gorge.
Nearby is the Endless Wall Trail, the best national park hike in the country by readers of USA Today’s 10Best.com. The 2.4-mile trail passes through forestland, crosses Fern Creek and makes its way to the edge of a cliff, giving a breathtaking view of the river.
A new addition to the resort, the Lookout Post opened in August of 2016 and is a great space for groups.
